Hi! I’m Steve. And I’m a proud, card-carrying Baby Boomer. In fact, I carry several cards…
Medicare, AARP, PWA, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. You probably do, too.
Of course, my Fayetteville library card is always in my wallet. Kinda proud of that one.
(Had to renew… my granddaughters insisted, LOL. They love to show me where the books are!)
I’m also the founder of Re-Channeled.com, a site dedicated to those of us who are older than dirt. Well, maybe not dirt.
But definitely older than the youngsters who get all the marketing love from most businesses.
And when they do market to us, it’s usually condescending… and even downright annoying.
“Hey… I may have fallen a time or two, but I can still get up.”
Bless their hearts!
Many of them think we’re feeble or befuddled, on the verge of mental collapse.
We’re not.
Not by a long shot.
And we still have a lot to contribute to society and business.
It’s time for you to rock and roll, not just rock!
But sometimes we boomers do fall for the old-age rhetoric and just want to settle down in our rocking chairs and take a long nap.
But if you’re here… you woke up from your slumber and are ready to roll, not just rock.
If so, then you’re in the right place at the right time and with the right mindset.
Remember… our generation had all the good music. It’s still the best.
And it’s time for us to dance again.
Actually, I’m already on the dance floor. I run a successful freelance copywriting business.
And I’m waiting for you to join me.
I want to show you how and why we’re still a viable and important part of society.
The real bedrock of today’s economy.
We might be older, but we’re not dead yet.
And we certainly aren’t done. Not by a long shot.
What a baby boomer can expect on Re-Channeled
I’ll be publishing blog articles about the real state of “old age.” And maybe some fun stuff about life in the Maurer house.
And showing you why and how we’re still a major force to be reckoned with.
There’s more info on the About Us page (and you’ll be surprised to find out who “Us” is.
There’s also a Free Membership Library, with curated content, free downloads, links to useful resources, and more!
It will grow over time, and I hope you’ll help!
After all, this site’s for you.
I’m 66+ year-old boomer and a freelance copywriter… and making enough money to survive and thrive… without social security “bennies.”
And my wife of 45 years makes a decent living as a seamstress.
I’d love to show you how that’s done.
At any rate, look around and see if you find anything the piques your interest.
And always…
Rock On, Baby Boomer… Rock On!

Card-carrying baby boomer. 😉
